LUKA MRKIĆ, attorney-at-law

Luka graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Zagreb. He began his legal career in 2010, working at several law firms, first as a trainee lawyer and later as an attorney and partner. Luka is the founder of the Law Office of Luka Mrkić, which commenced operations in 2019.

In his legal practice, Luka primarily deals with commercial and civil law with a particular emphasis on company law, commercial law, contract law and the conduct of court proceedings. He has advised numerous clients in the preparation and drafting of documentation for the purchase of real estate and investments in projects in the Republic of Croatia, as well as in the establishment and acquisition of companies, including companies of foreign founders operating in the Republic of Croatia.

He possesses extensive experience in representing domestic and international clients in complex civil and commercial disputes before the courts and regularly advises commercial companies, municipalities, cities and local self-government units on legal matters related to their day-to-day operations.

Luka is fluent in English and German and prepares legal and business documentation in English and German on a daily basis, ensuring reliable communication with international clients. The Law Office also holds a recommendation from the German Embassy for the provision of legal services in German.

In addition, Luka is a member of several recognised professional organisations such as the German-Croatian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK) and actively cooperates with the Austrian Foreign Trade Office.

Luka is also an active member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia (AmCham Croatia).

ANĐELA ŽUNIĆ, attorney-at-law

Anđela graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Split. She began her career in 2019, working as a trainee lawyer at the Law Office of Luka Mrkić, where she has been employed since its founding. After passing the bar examination in 2021 and being entered in the Register of Attorneys of the Croatian Bar Association in 2022, she continues to work as an attorney-at-law.

In her legal practice, Anđela primarily deals with civil and commercial law with a particular emphasis on contract law, property law and real estate, land registry law, and regularly represents domestic and foreign clients in complex civil disputes before the courts in the Republic of Croatia.

She advises clients on an almost daily basis in the preparation and drafting of documentation related to the purchase of real estate and provides her clients with legal support in various segments of contract law, with an emphasis on the security and clarity of legal relations.

Anđela is fluent in English and German and prepares legal and business documentation in English and German tailored to the needs of international clients.

In addition, Anđela is an active member of several recognised professional organisations such as the German-Croatian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK), the American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia (AmCham Croatia) and actively cooperates with the Austrian Foreign Trade Office.

LUKA PESTIĆ, trainee lawyer

Luka graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Split. He began his career in 2023, working as a trainee lawyer at the Law Office of Luka Mrkić, where he is involved in daily work across various areas of law.

He passed the bar examination in 2026.

In his work, he primarily deals with civil law with an emphasis on land registry law and real estate law.

Luka participates in the preparation of documentation in land registry proceedings, as well as in the drafting of documentation including various contracts, court submissions and applications before state authorities.

Luka is fluent in English and prepares documentation in English on a daily basis.
